Charles Dickens writing mirrored the nutrition conditions of his day, which were poor and depressing.
During this time, citizens were split into common chord social classes; nobility, which is the highest class, Middle, which is uncomplete rich nor poor, and functional class, which was the poor workers. The Gentry class was know to make harsh and snobby comments to the Working class, noting their lack of grooming and sanitation.
